Stats Pack: Jay’s two goals give Exeter win over Rovers

Exeter defeated visiting Bristol Rovers in the England League Two on Saturday 1-4 (0-4).

The hosts Exeter started best and were already 1-0 up at the start of the game. After only 3 minutes Matt Jay scored.

In the 70th minute, Sam Finley scored, to reduce the score for Bristol Rovers. Bristol Rovers were unable to score any more goals, what brought the final score to 4-1.

Bristol Rovers have had a poor start and have only three points from their first four games. Exeter claimed their first win.

The last meeting between the teams ended in a 3-1 home win for Bristol Rovers in April 2016.
