The home side Burnley were in control, leading 1-0 in the Premier League game. But Brighton turned the game around and won 2-1.
The hosting team Burnley started the match at pace and took the lead straight away already from the kickoff. After only 2 minutes James Tarkowski scored, with an assist from Ashley Westwood.
After that the game came to a long standstill. It took until the 73rd minute before Neal Maupay equalised for Brighton, from a pass from Jakub Moder.
Alexis MacAllister scored the decider, with an assist by Jakub Moder, in the 78th minute. MacAllister then completed the team’s come back, what brought the final score to 1-2.
On Saturday, Burnley will play away to Liverpool at 12:30 pm, while Brighton will face Watford at home at The Amex at 5:30 pm.
