Northampton beat Port Vale 1-0 (1-0) at home in the England League Two. The only goal of the game came in the first half through Ashley-Seal.
Northampton started the match best and took the lead when Bernard Ashley-Seal scored after 23 minutes, making it 0-1.
Both teams will be back in action on Saturday when Northampton host Colchester at Colchester Community Stadium and Port Vale welcome Tranmere.
