The only goal of the game came in the first half through Guthrie in Northampton’s victory in the England League Two, as they beat Colchester 1-0 (1-0) away.
The visiting team Northampton started the match well and took the lead when Jon Guthrie scored after 22 minutes, making it 1-0.
Next time Colchester will play against Mansfield on Tuesday at Colchester Community Stadium. Northampton take on Rochdale at home on Saturday.
