The Data Zone: Bromwich Albion win despite United comeback

West Bromwich Albion were in control from the first to final whistle in the Championship game against Sheffield United on Wednesday. They increased their lead in the second half and in the end won 4-0 (1-0).

In the 26th minute, West Bromwich Albion took a 1-0 lead through an own-goal.

Straight after the break, Dara O’Shea scored and increased the team’s lead.

In the 53rd minute, Alex Mowatt found the net, with an assist by Karlan Ahearne-Grant, to increase the lead for West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion increased the lead even more as Callum Robinson scored, with an assist by Kyle Bartley, in the 59th minute. The 4-0 goal was the last one of the game.

Sheffield United have had a sluggish start to the season and have only one point from their first three games. West Bromwich Albion are on seven points.

Both teams will be back in action on Saturday when West Brom host Blackburn at Ewood Park and Sheffield Utd welcome Huddersfield.
