The odd goal decided an even game as Bradford won 3-2 (1-1) away to Mansfield in the England League Two on Saturday.
Bradford started the match best and took the lead when Paudie O’Connor netted in the 19th minute, making it 1-0.
Mansfield equalised to make it 1-1, when Oliver Hawkins found the net, in the 37th minute.
Straight after the break, Oliver Hawkins scored and gave the team the lead. However, Mansfield were unable to make more of an impression.
With barely 30 minutes on the clock, Bradford’s Charles Vernam scored and equalised.
The deciding goal came, when Andy Cook scored a 2-3 for Bradford. This brought the final score to 3-2.
Mansfield have seven points while Bradford have 10, as both teams have played four games.
The last meeting between the teams ended in a 1-0 home win for Bradford in March 2021.
